We finally had the chance to meet with our new nanny and she's fabulous. Her name is Julia and grew up on a dairy farm in Ferndale. We clicked instantly and we feel exceptionally re-assured that she'll be caring for Iris for the next year or so.
I have mixed feelings about returning to work. I think overall it will be a positive change. I've had a good long chunk of time off (more than most) and I think it will help my brain to have a few more conversations with adults!
