Iris did it! She slept through the night last night- 9 pm until 5:30 (ate and then right back to sleep until 7:30!) Wow, I never thought it would happen! I know it will be awhile before it's every night but boy, just one night makes all the difference. Of course, I awoke at 4 wondering if she was OK, but even that 6 hour stretch was glorious. I don't know how parents go back to work before the baby gets to full nights. I don't think I would make it.
Speaking of going back to work; we are now embarking on the nanny search for my return to the City in September. I feel overwhelmed by it and I haven't even begun.
